Nick White – Osteopath
Nick White BOst is the principal osteopath at The White Practice. Nick turned to osteopathy after multiple trauma sustained in a head-on collision. Successful treatment was one of several factors which stimulated Nick to study for a degree in Osteopathy. This was awarded after attending five years at the British School of Osteopathy.
Nick opened The White Practice in September 2007, the osteopathic clinic has gone from strength to strength with the addition of Nikki Straughan in August 2008 and Kelly Haines in August 2010
Nick is married to Lucinda who is involved with the smooth running of the practice. Nick and Lucinda have 2 daughters; Blaise and Claudie and enjoy family life in the Stroud valleys.
Nikki Straughan – Osteopath
Nikki Straughan BOst also graduated from the British School of Osteopathy.
Working at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, in London, Nikki gained a wealth of experience working with pregnant mums and children whilst studying for a masters degree. She recently moved to Gloucestershire to combine working part-time with having 2 young children of her own!
Nikki uses a combination of cranial and structural techniques and also has an interest in treating sports injuries.
Kelly Haines – Osteopath
Kelly graduated from the London School of Osteopathy with a BSc Honours Degree in Osteopathy.
Prior to becoming an osteopath Kelly worked as a professional orchestral musician and has since treated many of London's top orchestral players and West End musical performers. She uses a combination of structural and cranial osteopathy in her treatments and is also trained in the use of western medical acupuncture. Kelly also has particular interest in whiplash injuries and breathing problems.
In her spare time Kelly still performs with various orchestras and can often be seen jogging around Minchinhamptom commomn.
