It may seem an obvious suggestion but we suggest three of each of the following stretches before and after some quality time in the garden. Attempt to..... without discomfort:
Slowly bend forwards to touch your toes x 3
Stand upright, hands on hips twist slowly to each side x 3
Remember its been a long winter, and you need to ease muscles back to work gently. Take regular breaks and keep lifting to a minimum - let the wheel barrow take the strain.
